DAY SIX : PORDENONE

The venue in Pordenone was a little peculiar - sort of a cross between a hubcap and a flying saucer - in fact, just like a Rototom!!!

The exceptionally camp Italian barman was hilarious - he wanted a T-shirt to wear during the show, so was pointed in Dave's general direction. He shouted, "Excuse me, come over here!". "No, I'm busy, come over here" came the swift reply. "I'm a queen so you must come to ME!" he pouted. "Well I'm a king so you'll have to come to ME!" quipped Dave...

The gig was excellent, good reaction from the crowd. It's still odd to hear Breathe get the biggest reception instead of Vienna!

Back at the hotel after the show, Midge thought his Swatch was telling the wrong time, so he demonstrated "tap dancing" on it. On closer inspection in the morning it had actually been correct all along, but was none the worse for the experience!
