The Messengers supported Ultravox on most of their tours and are comprised of Danny Mitchell and Colin King. Danny has also had a writing partnership with Midge Ure for many years, co-penning a surprising number of his hits. Tragically they never accepted a record deal in the 1980's, but spurred on by fan interest, Messengers have finally completed and recorded a wonderful album, It's Been Twenty Years, Let's Try Turning Up the Volume which is available exclusively at this site. You can download and listen to short samples of each track below. EXCLUSIVE WEBSITE AREA! The CD gives the address of a hidden area of this site, where you can access a note from Danny and Colin and SIX BONUS TRACKS - the three original singles and three 'big band' demos from 1985. In the meantime, the album lyrics (coming soon) and some exclusive photos of life on tour with Ultravox can be viewed in the Media Archive -> Messengers section.
