Whilst this site has 'Official' status, it's fan-run, with no financial support. If you do enjoy visiting and would like to help, you can choose to make a donation through PayPal - every little bit helps! It's entirely voluntary & helps us pay for ongoing costs such as the hosting, monthly mailing list fees, competition prizes, software upgrades and occasional fan events that we run. Thanks!

Extreme Voice fanzines
When Extreme Voice 'EV' fanzines (the Official Ultravox Fanzine, which spawned this site) first started out in 1984, it was a small, photocopied affair for the price of three stamps! Over the years it became the Official Ultravox Fanzine and website with exclusive interviews and photos, and from EV13 onwards was professionally designed and printed (about the same time that Cerise qualified as a Graphic Designer, funnily enough!). Most of these issues (1-16) have been out of print for years, but 17-20 and the Midge Ure 'Breathe' special edition are still available as original printed issues.
PLEASE
NOTE: The remaining issues do
not contain any of the original inserts (CD samplers or postcards
- we've simply run out of them) except for the last issue
of the Monument Ultravox fanzine (their no.10, farewell
issue which featured as an insert).
The remaining issues are available below.

Dear Janes fanzine no.2 (original)
£2.00

23 ISSUES LEFT
On Midge's Out Alone tour we were so impressed with the sublime tunes and wicked humour of support act The Dear Janes (Ginny Clee and Barbara Marsh) that we offered to produce a couple of fanzines for them, to support their album releases. Issue no.1 sold out a long time ago, but we still have a few copies of issue 2.
Do yourself a favour and check out The Dear Janes!

Overheard
"When Midge first sang it at rehearsals, I thought, what is he going on about, singing about bloody Vienna?".
