Ultimately I guess people talk elsewhere these days.

I do wonder how we all managed to talk quite so much about a band that had been dead for so many years (at that time). Just been reading my old PMs in here - wow, the amount of abuse and nutters. Some I'd quite forgotten.

Maybe we should have a where are they now section grin

And also some laughs- Remember this discussion about the U-Vox album from ten years ago? My post seemed to give you the chuckles! smile The Pink Thing.

Ha! Made me laugh, too. grin

I actually think it has a lot to do with the reunion; whilst we thought it would never, ever happen (Midge, Warren, Billy and Chris - *in the SAME room?!!*), we could endlessly discuss possibilities. But it happened - we got what we wanted - and we know it's never likely to happen again. So I guess there's a feeling of completion there, of coming full circle.

But yeah, that and Facebook. Gotta admit it's a great place for engagement. Still, I'm really glad to get the site back, and I have another few entries to the Covers Competition to upload, and a heap of content for the Media Archive that I'm going to be working on over Christmas (and linking to from Facebook, ha). Happy days. smile

Hello from the Land of the Celts.

Ultravox were my very first gig, in 1982, at the newly-opened St. David's Hall in Cardiff.

Been "crazy in love" with the delectable Warren Cann since that day. Age (and his love of his many dogs) only improve him. The fact that I have NEVER met him and never will only add on to the constant misery of a menopausal, mind-destroying, middle-age.

That is all I have to say. I LOVE YOU, MR X. xxxx Your wife is one lucky woman.
