Any chance of Ultravox playing in the states on the Return to Eden Tour? I am jealous of those who write and say how good the concerts are. Dvd's are ok but they don't have the excitement of a live concert. frown

It's not entirely their own decision but Midge recently said in an interview that if they get an offer to do a US or Japanese tour they will consider it. So there's always a chance for people outside of Europe to see them...

I would love for them to play in the states. You're not alone, my friend in South Carolina, I'm positively pea-green with jealousy! Staci

I asked Midge to bring Ultravox to Canada when I saw him in England and his response - in all probability just a polite piece of diplomacy, but it gives me some hope for it! - was, "we're trying".

Hopefully they wouldn't turn down the opportunity, anyway.

Ideally - for me! - they'd play the John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario. Great venue, certainly big enough: Sting is playing there this summer and I saw Yes there 5 years ago, as well as taking my daughter to see Hilary Duff 3 years ago. I want to see Ultravox play there!
