Greetings from StrangeEgan - Sat, 29 Oct 2005 09:22:00

Hi everyone,

A good pal of mine Shirl told me a month or so ago that there was a 'Voxgate' in London in late October. I registered there and then on the forum but unfortunately work has been crazy ever since and came back from my 'relaxing' holiday in Bosnia / Montenegro / Croatia knackered - had a ball thankfully. As a result, haven't been online on the forums much at all. I will meet you all tomorrow so looking forward to that. I'm based in SW London.

In terms of music - Cure, Siouxsie, Mission, Damned, Simple Minds, Smiths, Bowie, Sugarcubes also partial to most of the bands that were featured in the Channel 4 Top 10 New Romo & Synth Shows ... Ultravox, Visage, Soft Cell, Human League, Associates, Japan, Duran, Kraftwerk, Numan, early Spandau etc. Throw in smattering of punk, new wave, and some more recent bands like Interpol, Rammstein, Zeraphine etc and there you have it.

Apologies again for my recent lack of presence

PS The first question is always whether my surname is Egan. I hope that given that everyone on here in into Ultravox and Visage that my online name origin will be obvious.
