I haven't got a copy yet but I will have to do so. It will be a good souvenir of the tour. I attended the Manchester gig which I really enjoyed. It was great to hear the Metamatic album and related tracks played live.

Received my copy today.Excellent stuff.Just one question. Which gigs did Steve D'Agostino play at alongside John and Louis. Only I went to the Manchester gig and I'm sure it was only John and Louis onstage.

No, if I recall correctly, Steve didn't do the Isle of Wight 'Bestival' set, but did perform with John and Louis at both the London ICA and Cargo gigs last winter.

Cheers EG I think your memory is better than mine.
I knew there was more than one venue he appeared at though.

There is only one version of 'ANKOM' cd and one official release date. The only difference is the time it arrived at different suppliers and the prices set by e-bay sellers.

Wow, so the one on eBay isn't even numbered?

Where are you getting the information that states there are 2 different versions and that the eBay one does not have a number on it? confused

Re: Anew kind of man cd - Thu, 19 Jun 2008 14:49:00

Because the eBay ad makes it sound like it's a limited edition of 1000 copies. Usually such small limited editions are numbered. But it's clear to me now that it's just a regular release smile

By stating this you made the eBay item sound like it is still a different version and even more rare because it is not numbered. Once again, no one on this thread said anything about two different versions of a cd and whether any were numbered.

OK then please enlighten me smile
Is the release limited to 1000 copies?
And if so, is it numbered?

Re: Anew kind of man cd - Sat, 21 Jun 2008 01:15:00

Huh? Perhaps what I'm saying here sounds stupid but I've got Townsend on one side saying nothing about a ltd edition while on the other side there's an eBay auction saying "Ltd to 1000 copies". I'm not saying anyone in this thread was talking about 2 versions, it's the auction which got me confused.

Re: Anew kind of man cd - Sat, 21 Jun 2008 01:36:00

Right, i can tell you it does not have a number, be it from townsend or e-bay. But thats not to say its not limited, as some of John's cds are more lately. Rob could confirm if the albums limited or not.

[Edit]Limited edition or not,
im sure the cds on Townsend and e-bay are one and the same.
