I was going to put this in the 'How to Play it Thread' but its not really Ultravox. Can any help me out with chords to If I was? I cant find them anywhere.

And any other Midge songs that people may know would be appreciated

The chords to If I was are

Intro: |C|-|Dm|-|G|-|F|-||

Verse: |C|-|Dm|-|G|-|F|-| x2 then |Am|-|G|-||
(on second verse theses an extra bar at the end)

Chorus: ||: C|-|F6|-|G|-|F(6)|- :|| (6) F6 2nd, 4th and 6th times otherwise F

Middle: same as verse but with two extra bars at the end.

If you have any music notation software you can translate the midi files in the media section into scores (although some of the parts in my version, namely the mute guitar and solo, will not be the same as those played by midge).

I have been giving this song a good old bash on my not so great acoustic. I have found, only playing by ear Id like to add, that the chords are a bit different to the ones above. I am prob totally wrong here but I figured them out from listening to the song.

Verse: C Am G F (x2) F6 Am G

Chorus: C Am G F C Am G F6 ....and so on.

I could be wrong with these chords as I am only picking them up by ear - the only thing i have learnt from music in school LOL!

Don't know about the solo but the chords are(?)

Verse: ||: G|-|-|-|Em|-|F|- :|| x2
Chorus: ||: G|Em|C|Em|C|F|G|-|-:|| x2
Middle: || Bb|F|Em|-|-|-||
