Hi Deanoman
I have in my collection a video tape of the "German TV" session ( If I remember, off of the top of head 1976) There are 7 tracks including I won't play your game, I came back here to meet you and TV Orphan. The quality is reasonable. Perhaps if you send me an E-mail we can come to some arrangement.
Regards
Peter

Apologies if this has been mentioned in some ancient thread or is freely available but I seem to remember a couple of VH-1 appearances around the time of, hmm, "Pleasures of Electricity" was it? I think it was a short interview, with a performance of "Burning Car" (?) live in the studio. There was also a separate programme of John Foxx introducing his top 10 videos (of other artists). Anyone care to be more accurate? - I have no idea where this stuff is but I have it on video somewhere. confused

Thanks for the replys

Metal Beat I already have the "German TV"
session I have just called it Rockpop 20 Min
gig.

What I was hoping to do was collect all the footage that is available put on dvd and then share them back with the members of this forum.

So The Church Puddle any chance of having a dig around your video collection?

Regards
Deanoman

Anyone interested in having a copy of what I
have E-mail me

No worries Deanoman - give it a couple of weeks though. I know which ROOM this stuff is in.

Btw, before anyone asks, I do not live in a mansion, I am just hopelessly disorganised.

Hey Deanoman

Found it! laugh

This is what I got, the quality isn't the best (blue disco lights in darkened studios have bled a bit):

(all from VH1)

1. 5 minute feature and interview in "That Was Now, This Is Then" (January 2002)

2. Very brief interview

3. "Burning Car" w/Louis live in the studio

4. "Ten of the Best" w/John Foxx introducing his favourite videos. They play "Vienna" video before he starts:

Talking Heads "And She Was", Elvis Presley "Heartbreak Hotel", New Order "Blue Monday '88", The Damned "New Rose", Robert Palmer "Addicted to Love", Herbie Hancock "Rocket", Roxy Music "Virginia Plain", Tears for Fears "Sowing the Seeds of Love", Bjork "Big Time Sensuality" and Soft Cell "Say Hello, Wave Goodbye"

5. Brief news item (Pip Dann, whatever happened to her?) and "Overpass" w/Louis live in the studio.

Items 2 to 5 all from 1998.

If you email me your address I'll send you the tape and you can go from there.

cheers
Mark

Oh my, you both have a treasure trove of videos! I'd love to have a copy, but I'm afraid I don't have anything quite that valuable to trade, or at least I don't think I do! Are either of you interested in sharing? laugh

I would provide media and postage, of course, which may be a bit tricky, as I have no idea how much postage would cost from the UK to here... shocked
