Decided to join the forum at last, having relied on it for information in the run-up to the Bristol Concert last Saturday . Really impressed with the speed of the website now by the way!

Having been a Midge fan since I first saw him on Top of The Pops in 1976, I have loved Ultravox ever since first seeing 'Sleepwalk' on the aforementioned programme in 1980. I followed them avidly in the magazines of the time, eventually getting to see them in 1984 and again at Live Aid, also saw the Uvox tour and since have seen Midge several times (The Gift and more recently at an acoustic gig and a band gig).

When Ultravox went their separate ways, I knew that there was probably little chance of them getting back together, but never really gave up hope and checked for news every now and then (not really expecting anything).

When all the speculation was around last year it kind of felt right and of course we were rewarded with the excellent news of the tour. Now here I am, having seen my heroes again and so grateful.
