Sometimes it is a little bit "Strange" here, but overall the small battles of taste are fun. Welcome here! 1986 i bought my frst UVOX release...was not bad at all  I bought it foe the cover as iot was very bright. The prveious year I had bought well with my mummys money a 12" of Gary Numans-My Dying Machine. I think i had an obsession with colourfull record covers in Woolworth's - Peckham Im used to strange places...Nothing shocks me no more

Your introduction to Ultravox was TDPT and you remained a fan???? Now there's something I didn't know about you, Mark...

I know it was not there best release. But they were trying something there. I do like albums others sometimes dont ie Berseker by numan.. I think Ultravox were looking round realiseing pop-dance had taken over from synthpop/new wave and were not sure where to go musically. Where it may not have catchy singles or classic tracks as an album it still had good muscianship..
