Hi everyone.

Just to say that I received a promo copy of John and Gordon's new album, 'From Trash' (not Impossible!). Unless someone's beaten me to it, the track listing is as follows:

1. From Trash
2. Freeze Frame
3. Your Kisses Burn
4. Another You
5. Impossible
6. Never Let Me Go
7. A Room As Big As A City
8. A Million Cars
9. Friendly Dire
10. The One Who Walks Through You

The official release date is 6th November. In the meantime, I must say that, although I've only listened to it once, it's another very strong album. I like most of what I've heard, but 'A Million Cars' and 'A Room As Big As A City' seem to be the standout tracks. I'll say more on the album after a few more listens.

Best wishes to you all!

Track 9 should read 'Friendly Fire', not 'Dire'. Sorry to confuse!

Really looking forward to from trash. So excited november seems an age but i can wait. While sitting in the pub tonight staring out the window on to the wet city johns music came into my head especially his last two albums. Johns romantic view on the city defently makes me feel more at ease amongst the husle and the bustle.

Can't wait to hear the new album....i'm especially keen to hear the new version of 'Your Kisses Burn'....

Didn't promo copies of Crash & Burn come out before the official release date? Recall finding a copy in Reckless records in soho in mid may, and the album came out in June....hmm.

Hey, i've got to go into central london this afternoon....maybe i'll trawl the shops...! Quite fruitlessly in all probability, but you never know smile

Promo cds of Crash and Burn did come out before the album, thats the major point of them to promote interest in a future release.

I wont say that the second point of ANY promo cds is to sell them for a small profit to the public after the general release though.

Agree with you Alex, can anyone 'In the know' state whether the 'sideways' song from the recent tour has morphed into something else on the album, as I loved it - keep playing it on the boot. As an aside, I also love 'Never Let Me Go' and wonder if it's longer on the album than on 'my space'.
Cheers

Hi Rob,
see my thread on 'Scala gig boot', Mr Moderator. That'll teach you to sit upstairs at gigs drinking Red Stripe, and then running for the train. 'You are being Serviced'.
Cheers
