Duncan - you have some lovely pics - great eye for detail and some nice lighting captured too. Keep posting!

Duncan, I know nothing about photography - infact, in the words of a great man [photography] 'this means nothing to me.....' but I think your pictures are FAB!! Love the one of the deep red sky...'Visions in Red?' or 'Beneath a Spielberg Sky?' M

Excellent stuff Duncan, especially for a beginner. We're hopefully going to be in Ireland again next year - which part of the country is Rossmore Forest in?
Edit: now found, near the border with Northern Ireland.

Thanks Pete,I can't believe the compliments I'm getting.Rossmore forest is on the outskirts of Monaghan town,Co Monaghan just south of counties Tyrone & Armagh, they are in N.I but although it's an Ulster county,Monaghan is in the republic,it's the same with counties Donegal & Cavan.Rossmore park is where the castle of lord Rossmore (famous for having hanky panky with Churchill's mammy) with was sited. All these photos were taken within a 4 mile drive from my house. The stone bridge and river are believe it or not,at the end of the 19 house cul-de-sac I live in.Thank you all once again for the kind comments
