Great stuff, Jus!
Some interesting photographs here. It's always nice when you see other peoples photo's on here for the first time. You've certainly had some AAA treatment at these Rock band gigs, eh. wink

The first gig shot, after the Nature/Landscapes, is my favourite. Great low angle, capturing a bit of drama. Then there's Mr Motorhead, looking mean, moody and a tad miserable - great shot though. It's only Rock n Roll but I like it.

Thanks for posting them.

Hi Ash! I have millions in the archives! The shot you speak of is from the most recent collection - taken in London this year - it's Frank Hannon of Tesla whom I interviewed after the show - The stage was very high hence the low angle!! I have many similar from this tour.

Again Lemmy was this year - he does look mean but he is actually an okay guy - he makes me laugh - especially at this occasion!

The other shots are older ones so not the best technically - but nice to hang onto for development reference and remind me of some special experiences from around the (rock n roll) world!

Glad you enjoyed them Piglet! laugh

Your (oops sorry Llais you're wink )really lucky to live so close to such a fantastic place. Just makes me realise how shite the area where I live is!! frown Lovely shots - I love the winter solstice one especially - & a great one of Toby too. smile

The closest I have lived to anywhere like this would have been the South Downs which is a fair old journey from where I used to live. Never went there much when I lived that way. The last time was about the late 80s/early 90s with a group of mates after it had been snowing. We walked from our hometown to Ditchling & up onto the Downs with one home made sled & a few black bin bags!! I can still feel the bruises from those bin bags!!! icky biglaugh

I think you are talking about Venice in LA. No this beach is deserted believe it or not!!!! Mind you its a few miles of coastline but still its pretty free from people pollution even though there are a few apartments around!!! Nice and peaceful neighbourhood!

ON the other hand - here is Detroit! (rock city!!)

Pretty derelict

The one at the top is brilliant, the height you took it from, the angle & most of all, the people in the fore ground, you really get a great sense of proportion with the people and the buildings in the background. This is a very cleverly thought out photograph, pure brilliance
