Nice colours Doug - not too saturated, quite natural looking. Nice plain background too. Growing orchids looks very rewarding.

This is another of my orchids in bloom at the moment, Phalaenopsis "Bamboo Baby". The flowers are about 2" wide.

Been ages since I posted pics. I abandoned Fotopages years ago - it's too slow and lousy, and a spammer's heaven.

For the time being I have several galleries on my iWeb site and some pics are also posted over at DPReview.

Over the past couple of months I upgraded my photo gear to a Nikon D7000 and also a Nikon P7100. Both are excellent devices, I'm very pleased with them. A long overdue treat to myself.
