The back end of September saw me take a journey into the Forbidden City of Newcaste-Upon-Tyne for the annual Bupa Great North Run. Here is a small selection of shots that I grabbed near the Tyne Bridge - a nice little backdrop. smile

Yeah I know what you're saying, I was going to update my thread on the Thursday night, when I noticed you had posted on yours. I didn't want you thinking I had posted deliberately to bump you down, so I held off until you were going to post your photos! I'm talking less than an hour after your post (on the 12th)...... I know that some folk on this site can be bad minded, so I held off for 10 days..... like I say it's sods law, I should have posted sooner! nice to see you finally put them up wink

Really, there's no need to worry Helen. confused2 Quite often, and again in this case, your choice of words give the impression you're taking things far too seriously. Just relax and enjoy the whole experience. Photography section - It's hardly life or death, eh.

Last night was the first real chance I had to upload my photo's. Haven't even added any to my site yet.

As for some people on here being 'Bad Minded', I would have to disagree with you on that score. I can't believe anyone would be so petty about something so trivial (Bumping down certain people's threads).

Chin up eh. wink

I'm not "worried" far from it confused2 Quite often, and again in this case, your choice of words give the impression you're taking things far too seriously. Oh really? Would like to you elborate on this... I'd like you to be specific as to what "things" you refer. Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a serious person at all.... ok I'm not the "class clown" but I'm not overtly serious. I like to think I have a sense of humour, but maybe I'm wrong, maybe someone who has never met me knows me better than I know myself, particularly as it's not the first time I've been accused of being too serious. Maybe I should waffle on about the mundane in a regional accent and people will then find me amusing? hmmm, I'll give that a bash maybe. Just relax and enjoy the whole experience. Photography section - It's hardly life or death, eh.
This is just the thing though eh.... I was relaxed, I still am if not slightly irked..... I had something to update, but thought it best not to incase it was seen as an attempt to bump your thread down..... I shouldn't HAVE to worry about that.... clearly no-one else does, but I did. I know reference has been made to something similar before..... but it's fine Ash, if you're saying not to worry about it, then I won't. I will just post freely, and perhaps a little more frequently safe in the knowledge that you aren't worried if your thread is dominating the photography section or not. You've told me not to "worry" so I won't. I was just trying to have a little consideration for you, that's all.... if you were going to the effort of updating your thread, as I say I was going to post less than an hour after you had.... then it's only fair that your post with your lovely pics be seen. I just won't give it another thought in future! wink

As for some people on here being 'Bad Minded', I would have to disagree with you on that score. I can't believe anyone would be so petty about something so trivial (Bumping down certain people's threads)
That's really interesting actually.... so you are telling me that you wouldn't have noticed if your thread was bumped down, and it wouldn't have crossed your mind that it might have been done on purpose? Well I know for a fact that such things do get noticed and discussed because I have observed conversations where such things have been under discussion. I find it hard to believe that if the thought wouldn't occur to you, that there wouldn't be someone in your ear drawing attention to it! I don't know, maybe they wouldn't, maybe they only like to stir it with me, LOL!!!! laugh biglaugh

Hi Stacey,(LittleUn? from MU?)

to place the pic you have into a forum, open photobucket in a seperate tab, select the library you want then just tick the little box that is directly underneath the particular shot you want, then scroll to bottom of screen where you will find a box marked "Generate HTML and IMG Code." Click on this and you will move to a screen with five options.

Select "IMG images for message boards"

then highlight the code in the box
e.g

IMG]http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/midgevox2002/oinksip.jpg[/IMG

(NOTE: your copied entry will have [ and ] bracketting the whole entry, keep them in your pasted entry. I have removed them to give an example of what you see. if the brackets were left on, the actual picture would appear in your preview and entry!!)

then paste that entry into the "post a reply" box as normal. It helps to leave a line between your text and the HTML code to seperate the pic from words....

Hope this helps......

I like the light show batch better than the others too. I love low-light photography and now the sun is rising around 8ish I could be tempted to set the alarm clock and do some more sunrise stuff.
Then again...the zeds normally get the better of me and I don't bother. I only get one day off work each week so a lie-in is a luxury.

Ey-up pop pickers!
Just a quick one to say I finally got round to uploading some more concert photographs to my website. There's a handful of Gary Numan shots to add over the next couple of days, but first of all there's a new page opened on
CP\'s Website
Just click on the link in the update panel (Top of Home Page) to view Simple Minds Live At Sheffield Arena. It was an excellent gig and there's a brief write-up on CP\'s Blog .

Finally, a short video clip that was filmed during the support slot (OMD), featuring the legendary Shirl - globetrotting gig goer. wink

Cheers. laugh

Well, we've had lots of snow in the north-east of England and I managed to find time out from a busy Christmas to grab some snow scene photography.

Here's a small selection of what I got...

HERRINGTON COUNTRY PARK, SUNDERLAND

ST MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS CHURCH, HOUGHTON-LE-SPRING

PREBENDS BRIDGE, DURHAM CITY

DURHAM CATHEDRAL

DURHAM CATHEDRAL 2

ELVET BRIDGE, DURHAM CITY

FREEZING BREATH, ELVET BRIDGE, DURHAM CITY

ANGEL OF THE NORTH, GATESHEAD

ANGEL OF THE NORTH 2

SEVEN SISTERS, HOUGHTON-LE-SPRING

That's all folks!
