I'm currently listening to "Oh Synthesizer" by Komputer, a great rewriting of Kraftwerk's Neon Lights wink

Come on people, share with the other users in here what's playing in your winamp/discman/ipod/etc. right now smile

Secret Machines "Ten Silver Drops" - they are in the register of prog rock acts but they are very modern sounding and will crossover to indie band fans.

Tangerine Dream - Tangram. Or at least it would be if my job allowed me to play music. <img border="0" alt="[Pissed]" title="" src="graemlins/pissed.gif" /> Fortunately my low capacity organic MP3 player (or brain) allows me to listen to it anyway. smile

Finally got my hands on the Nation 12 reissue. It's interesting to hear how some of the tracks have been recorded again for later releases like Leaving/Through my sleeping and Invisible women

Luckily I can listen to music at work, I don't know if would have survived without it. Must be terrible being denied that right frown

So far today I have been listening to Mesh (We Collide) and John Foxx's new "Looped Los Angelese" track.

Yesterday I listened to Gary Numan's 'Jagged', 'Solarized' by Ian Brown and... some of my own ambient music!

Gave in and played Ultravox 'hammersmith '80',
and one track by 'fatal charm' the support for that night. And some cath oceans live. The real atempt to not play Ultravox though starts monday.

You can recharge the battery's wink

I listened yesterday und today to Gary Numan's compilation EXPOSURE (which will hopefully get signed wednesday by him, I think that's the reason for the space left in the upper right corner of the booklet's frontpage).
Today outside in the garden I listened to RADIOSHOW by SPLIFF and BAYREUTH 3 by JOACHIM WITT.

Decided to not play Ultravox or any music for a week, just to see how much it really is needed.
Did look at your Dr who / digital artwork site's though Alex.

Started my week of not playing any music from any artist at all!!. There will be no hifi, mp3 player, or dvds. I wont keep posting results as its more of a private test for me, just to see how important the music is.
And anyway to keep telling people what im NOT doing, it would be as intresting as a poor man's David Blaine biglaugh

I wouldn't have lasted long doing that, music is almost as important as food laugh

Listening to Deep Dish's Global Underground set from Toronto at the moment, nice easy going music for a surprisingly warm and summery day in Norway shock viking

This morning I've been listening to:

Men Without Hats - Folk of the 80's part III
Martha + The Muffins - Far away in time

It just occured to me that both bands are from Canada, bit of a co-incidence. A lot of good music came from Canada at the time though, Rational Youth is another favourite of mine.
