Folks, we have secured a small gig which will give us the opportunity for a technical run-through of our live set in front of a real, live audience... The date is November 26th. Location is The MacGregor Bar in Gourock (28 miles west of Glasgow). Support from my very good friends 'The Ten Gallon Bratz' If anyone can make it we will be thrilled, but rest assured, all being well, we will take ourselves on the road and hopefully appear in various places in the UK and/or beyond.... We'll let you know how we get on...

Flyer from Davy B! I'll put this out on a mailer on Sunday night, it'll coincide with the site relaunch, so it'll all be big news. No really. It's actually happening this time. I swear! ;o) The McGregor is in Shore Street in Gourock (20 minutes from Glasgow). I can't make this one, but the very best of luck guys - knock 'em dead! We want some dates a bit further south!!!

Nils, its pronounced as a 'y' as in 'try' and as in John Lydon of PIL and the Sex Pistols (albeit with a different vowel). I've always pronounced Lynott as with an 'i'. Guess that's why so many people mispronounce my name also....especially in Germany... '....excuse me, Herr Looden...'

Hi Mr. Bee and Mr. Lyden with "y" like in "try"! I know that "Lynott" is spoken that way, maybe it wasn't recognizable that I used the name as an opposite example for "little". The fact is that the right pronounciation of "Lyden" in german sounds like "leiden", which means "to suffer". I just wanted to ask if that's right . Your flyer (with "y" like in......okay, I'll stop it) looks great! I really wish You the best for Your gig!!! Do Danny and Colin come there, too?

Cerise: What's the best format to save a CorelDRAW file so I can send Davy a decent copy of the logo? I've tried .PDF and even copying it as an image to Word but, in both instances, the text came out with incorrect spacing (no doubt due to the fact that I don't have a specified point size for the text). Davy: No offence mate, but the logo looks . It's just because you've used a copy of a copy of the jpeg I sent Don, I suppose. It's way too elongated and the text is pretty fuzzy. If I can get the original to you in some useable format it will look much better (sorry for being so picky but Monument does have a high standard to live up to... especially now that the music's there! ) Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Davy - can you use an Adobe Illustrator EPS (vector) format logo? Or do you need good quality JPEG/TIFF (raster) version instead?

The date is November 26th. Location is The MacGregor Bar in Gourock (28 miles west of Glasgow). Dear Chaps, Hope you have a great gig! If anything goes pear-shaped, don't worry about it too much - it takes awhile to iron things out. And that's what next gigs are for. Best wishes to you! Warren

Sleepwalker, Dave B... Well - life is sometimes.... my trip cancelled - have to try January ´05 Voxgate. My beloved GrandFather slept away last night. He was 95! He´s mind worked perfectly till the end, but body became too weak. His wife lived also over 90 and past away 2 years ago. It´s not so long time ago I met him, he was so happy to see my youngest son for the first time (he lived quiet far from Helsinki) and we had very interesting conversation about time before our indepence, watched old photographs (he as a child!), laughed, I took some photos... Have to be there with all my GrandFather´s 4 daugters, their 6 children, and their 11 kids (oldest is 17) to prepare him in his last journey... where ever it is....maybe to see GrandMother again... who knows... ari

Ari, my deepest sympathies to you and your family. Of course they take precedence at all times and especially at this time... I'm glad you managed to get some time with your Grandfather recently and introduce him to the latest generation... We'll see you whenever you're ready....
