Paul, the original idea was to use Davie's people carrier for "peep ferrying", but we appear to have added a few names since then. Can peeps (and peepesses of course...) let us know if you require transport from Glasgow to Greenock on the 21st before the end of next week (14th) and we'll arrange summat based on the numbers and arrival times. We'll also try to arrange a return journey that night, although there is a regular train service a short walk (stagger, crawl...etc)away for those who retire early...

looking forward to it! (even to the Foxx gig ) We're assuming we'll get the train to Greenock from Glasgow so dont worry about transport for EG and me.

A word of warning. Anyone planning to use the trains, can they check that their service is running. RMT have planned a 24 hour strike from 12 noon on the Friday, and this looks like it is going to affect several services. I am going to see if our train to Glasgow is affected, and we may need to cancel and book National Express coaches instead. We will definitely be in Glasgow this weekend though, and hopefully we can get to and from the gig.

Well it's looking increasingly like we should be there, although we might turn up a little late! :rolleyes: John working (12 hours)til6 so from Grangemouth to Edinburgh, something to eat then on to Greenock! I just hope he'll drive!

Don't worry Helen.. I did get back home ok.. Today!! Caz and I were having a bit of a mad weekend taking in four gigs, four locations in four days.. As you know we were at Greenock on Friday, then John Foxx in Glasgow on Saturday, followed by Midge Ure/China Crisis/Altered Images in South Shields on Sunday.. then to round things off.. Simple Minds in London yesterday

Monument were amazing, and I look forward to seeing them again in the not too distant future..

This is the first time I've ever read the Monument thread. It's speaking to others in the MU chatroom that I realise I may be actually be missing something good. It seems people who go to your gigs have a great time.

Next time you guys do a gig down south I'll definately try my hardest to attend.
