Does anyone concur that Stevie has a guitar track on the album (sax) version of 'Hiroshima Mon Amour'?

I've analysed it quite closely through the headphones and I'm sure there's a 'plucking' guitar track deep in the mix...

Opinions anyone?

Cheers...

Yup. Steve's definitely on there, although the old telecaster sounds horribly like a banjo to these ears. Just a pretty basic chordal part with a sort of "Wedding Present on 33" rhythmic feel to it. Comes in roughly with the sax, as I recall. I shall, of course, re-examine the track tonight.

Aye, surely he's there strumming the chords, fairly audible...?

Unless I'm thinking of one of those live bootlegs I have........
....I'll have to listen to it again when I get home tonight.

Chris Cross does not appear to be playing anything on the album version though.... there's no discernable bass instrument to my ears
(apart from when Billy holds a G drone on the Elka Strings during the intro)

I am probably mistaken, but did I read somewhere that Chris played sax on this track?

I may be making this up... <img border="0" alt="[Shake head]" title="" src="graemlins/shakehead.gif" />

Sax of " Hiroshima mon amour " was not played by Chris Cross.
" C.C. " is the member of " Gloria Mundi ".
" Gloria Mundi " was Eddie Mae-lov's band ( He is also the member of " Eddie & sunshine" ).

In detail, see this Warren Cann Interview

http://www.algonet.se/~jonwar/ultravox-interview2.html

I bid that Stevie used Gibson SG on " Hiroshima Mon Amour " both of version.
The Guitar of Ha!Ha!Ha! is very trebly sound such like telecaster but I think it's Humbacker sound.
I've seen Stevie used Gibson SG on " The Frozen Ones " by bootleg video.

Do you (or anyone else) know what the C.C. initials stand for? i.e: what is this guy's name?
I haven't been able to find any info' on him at all.

Oh yes... thanks for the confirmation of Stevie's guitar on 'Hiroshima Mon Amour'; I'm glad I wasn't hearing things!

Cheers...

Any idea where one can see such a video? Or any live John Foxx-era Ultravox?
