Loved the guitar sound on 'Systems of Romance'........... even been listening to Magazine's 'Play' live album in the car. Wonderful playing.
Could someone tell me the techy side of guitar amp effects etc for 'Systems of Romance'album? I could have asked him at the Essex Golden Section gig in 1983 but I was too much in awe.

I'd travel to hear him again wherever he is!
Cheers Richard

I can`t answer your question regarding the techy side of Simon`s playing - but I totally agree that his guitarsound on "Systems Of Romance" is awesome. To me his playing is the single most important reason for "Systems Of Romance" being such a good album.

I say, steady on!

I particularly liked his guitar on "JUST FOR A MOMENT" :-)

One of the reasons, sure. I hope he knows how many people would love to see him play live. Maybe someone who's read the interview would give me a tiny hint as to why his guitar is silent.

Cheers, Adrian
