Thanks confarga!
It's always nice that someone remembers the Forgotten Man of Ultravox. He truly is a great guitarist and did brilliantly in replacing the late but also great guitarist John McGeoch.
I truly like the Play CD by Magazine (recorded live at Melbourne on 6th September 1980). Robin has his unique style and he gave that to Magazine, as can be heard on Play. He does come through very well on A Song from under the Floorboards and does John McGeoch proud. I wonder why he didn't continue to record an album with Magazine. Perhaps Howard Devoto asked too much from him.
There has been a lot of talk on The Forum about an Ultravox reunion and if this ever happens Robin should be a part of it. He's got a lot more to offer to the band. Remember Slow Motion originated from him.
Yes, one would love to see another release involving Robin and this DVD should be the perfect opportunity to witness one of the rare appearances of this talent.
BTW Billy Currie mentioned in an e-mail that he was working on the Humania live tapes with a possible CD release on his Puzzle label.
Wow!
