Not a topic, just to say that Robin Simons work on Systems of Romance was EXEMPLARY; best guitar work across all the art-electronic bands of late 70s 80s IMHO. Great work on Magazines Play also.
Real shame the Systems band didnt stick together - but I'm probably in the minority on that one....... excited -

Not at all Wally, I think a lot of us would've like to have heard the 'next' album at least.

Unfortunately, as seems to have been the case throughout the Ultravox history, the personalities got in the way of their musical potential.

If he did, was he made to give back what he stole?

Noooooooo not at all. I would've given a year's salary if they had stayed together. Systems is still my all time Ultravox/Foxx favourite. It would've been really cool if they'd recorded Radio Beach, He's a Liquid and Touch & Go as heard on live tapes.
