Just out of curiousity, why would you think the four (particularly Midge) would want to touch any Foxx-vox tracks? I believe that neither care about my hypothetical speculations, and neither would touch any Foox material, I reckon, but I would really love to see the the four of them re-recording much of that material, giving it a better production and rework details.

I wondered that...apart from playing some of the songs live in the very early Midge days, they soon disappeared off the set list... Most tracks on Systems of Romance would have fit Midge Ure perfectly.

The album would most likely be titled Imagine. Both great albums , and these tracks would be even more amazing with Midges vocals and the musical input of Warren Chris and Midge as well as Billys This would be an absolute killer album Paul

Perhaps I'm just being cynical, but I wouldn't touch anything. Leave the songs be.
Compare it to an open-casket funeral. Would you like your last memory of the person (or in this case, a song) to be of when he/she/it was alive and full of life, or as a mere shell of his/her/its former existence? Remember "Vienna '92?" Sorry, but I didn't like it. It should have been left alone! I think in the unlikely event that if any songs were to ever be re-recorded by the guys, they wouldn't have the magic, the zeal the songs originally had. Best to keep the memory of what once was...
Ashes of memories still aglow...

Paul [/b]Bravo! A fine answer, and something you've now given me the desire to hear - provided that the originals can be augmented musically by their new players, and some of their lyrical awkwardnesses given the euphonic twist . . . well, whomsoever it was that used to give things their euphonic twists, really. What's the chance, eh? (Book your skiing holidays in Hell now, folks . . . )
