Hi Deanoman
Thanks for posting the link. I'll have a look at the video's tonight. (Daren't watch them whilst my boss is about arnie )

I would guess the most of the video's come from the Virgin tape?

Yeah, I would think so too.

The OGWT version of Hiroshima Mon Amour is fantastic, I've been listening to it all morning. The bass riff Chris is playing is pretty weird, but it works really well, and Warren is already perfecting his druming style. Awesome version of one of their best tracks smile

I actually did it on the way home from the bus stop tonight listening to my iPod. Couldn't help myself as I had that clip in my head as soon as the song started. bemused

I just hope no-one was looking out of their windows... eek

You don't half admit to some things on here... smile

It is a catchy track though, that one. Especially on the 12" when the Polymoogs swoop up at the end of the middle bit and...er...why are you all looking at me that way?! bemused nutjob

It's a form of therapy, maybe Chris could collect my posts and form a diagnosis.

Do the Palladino...

That reminds me. Why was it soooo fashionable to slag Numan off in the press? I remember Pino Palladino throwing in a 'he's a bit weird' quote in Smash Hits after he defected to Paul Young.

God knows-seemed to be everyone's whipping boy back then - ridicule heaped upon ridicule. He always seemed to say too much in interviews and get slaughtered for it. And as for daring to announce your retirement and then coming back a few months later...WELL! wink

Quite an about turn in the press and with other artists especially these days...

Thanks for this info smile But I don't think it is necessary to use a decoder, unless one has some specific use for .avi files. I'm told a player like VLC player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) will play these files directly as .php extensions.
