Just seen the two part Duran special on Songbook - great performances - and it just left me thinking how great it would be to see Ultravox get that treatment too, and to hear the four of them discussing their songs instead of the inane questions they used to get from the 80's pop press half the time smile

Come on Sky Arts, make that call today wink

Only if one has a SkyArts registration, but I'm going to keep trying even though I can't watch it myself. Staci

Midge did a solo one last year , so doubt they would record a group one so close.

Thats said (and I didn't know this) - they have already done one on Midge so I guess its unlikely.

It was actually on Sky Arts HD last night. I managed to set the box up to record a repeat at 2 in the morning.

Yes, that Midge one's a few years old now, so by the time they have the new record ready it wouldn't be that recent anymore.

Come on, though, let's not give them any excuses not to consider it smile

Wishful thinking never did anyone harm. Having said that tho - Ah reckon the odds of Ultravox appearin' on yon Songbook are very slim. Mare chance o' gerrin' a wink off the pope.
