Hi Gillian, I'm sure there's more than one pub in town for us to get to.. Anyway, I think that now makes 3 of us for now, so we're off the mark! All the best H

I'm going to Manchester, got my tickets this morning. I'll be heading over from the North East reasonably early to get there in time for meeting up in the afternoon so I'll be up for a Voxgate. Can anyone recommend any good hotels near Piccadilly rail station and the Apollo? I haven't checked out the geography yet so I don't know how far the venue is from the rail station. Cheers.

try this place 5 mins walk to the apollo its has a big bar plenty of space real ale and good food Jabezz Clegg? Are you totally sure this is a five min walk from the Apollo? I think not. JAbezz is oxford road student land and the apollo is the other side of the mancunian over Ardwick green. More of a 5 min taxi ride is my personal opinion - for what its worth.

There is a premier inn which is ver comfortable and reasonable but its not right next to the train station - its about a 5 min cab ride from the station and slightly further from apollo. I cant think of any hotels near to piccadilly - Im sure there is one but can tthink of the name and its probably not particularly cheap. I'd go for the prem.

[/b]You thinking linear Jus, getting back on the Mancunian Way then getting off and going up Downing Street/Stockport Road towards Ardwick. If you cut through it can be done. Doubt I'll make it for the pre-drink though....

Manchester's Voxgate (pre & post-show) will be at Jabez Clegg Pub (thanks Bruce). As above, it's about 10 mins' walk from the venue. See updated Voxgates page .
