Hi all - what's the opinion re parking in Oxford, as I'm driving up tomorrow (not staying overnight). I looked up one of the park & rides, and it had pretty awful reviews of the bus transfer!

I'm planning on coming up a bit earlier to meet up for the Voxgate, so presumably trying to park near Copa is a no-no?

on-street parking is free after 6:30pm on Saturday , though places are limited close to the theatre.
Last park & Ride buses are at different times depending on which site you are parked at - see

I took the view that parking in Oxford on a Saturday afternoon would be nigh on impossible, so booked into the Holiday Inn on the edge of town and will be taxi-ing in. I believe there's an underground car park somewhere near the theatre. The park and ride car parks are unmanned after about 7pm on a weekend - couldn't find out how late the buses run to when I looked the other day.

Will wait for a call from Zosh to say the tink tink twins are ready and then head into town - imagine we'll be there before 6. See you all in there.
