Now we have a list of dates for John's latest concert tour, which concert will you be attending? I shall be going to the Scala in London. Perhaps before the concert begins we could have a get together in the Sahara Nights pub similar to the last time John played there? I read thread about Ion-ah having a sickie and doing the complete tour, however much I'd love to do everynight, I don't think my wife will be too keen. Peter

Rob[/b]Rob, many thanks for your information. I E -mailed the Paradiso 65 this morning but can read the answer first on Friday evening - ''cause I start for a week at the eastern coast in the next moment. I wished I could stay with you all together at the Scala!!, but for the explained reason on "Foxx Tour " I can only go to Amsterdam show. At least, it would be the first show - so if any informations wanted about that gig - I could post it here... I'm glad John & Louis play in Amsterdam - otherwise I would be the "LUCKY LOOSER". Bye - see you all here Friday Shadow Mandreas

Cardiff/Caerdydd...capital city of Wales...home of the new, improved Dr Who! I'd better set the timer now so that my re-animation is completed in a timely fashion. I want to chill...but I need to thaw first.... PS: Any news on the proposed set, yet? I ask because a couple of Daleks that live about three doors up are keen on hearing She Robot live. Fithy beggars.....

Assuming I'm not still in some far flung corner of the globe scratching out a living I'll be attending the Scala Concert this year. Last time I had my ticket and then ended up working in India instead. Might also venture farther afield, again depending on work commitments. Paul.

Well John is from Chorley, but they're not playing there either... ...so at least there is equality in non-home-ground stampage... I'm still jazzed about Cardiff! If I lean out of my window I can just about see the venue... ....and my neighbours... ....doing.... .... something.... Whoops.

I'm torn between Scala and Notts. It would be great to meet up a Sahara Nights again, and bump into Metalbeat once more, but it's a shame ol' Brummie Rich can't make it, as it would be nice to catch up, so not sure if a Friday night in Notts isn't preferable. Might do both! Cheers

I'm going to try and get to the London gig. I'm going to avoid Wolverhampton as I lived there for 12 years and still haven't worked out why. This will be the first time I've seen John since the Tin Can Club in Digbeth, Brum in 1984! My how I've changed since my then 16 year old self...

Originally posted by Mrs. X: None, unfortunately. He's not coming anywhere near here... The myspace blog says that there's a chance of a Toronto show in the fall. That's a five hour drive from Ottawa, but I'm already working on convincing my wife that we need to make the trip (she doesn't mind his music but doesn't have any particular interest in it, either). An old friend of hers lives in Toronto and her hometown is London (Ontario), which is just another two hours down the 401, so we'll probably combine a few things in one trip. Boy, I hope this comes together...

Oooh, thank you!!! I will definitely keep an eye out for more information as time goes on. It's a 2 1/2 hour flight for me, but with cheap airlines, it shouldn't be too bad. Yay!! I hope this comes together as well!!! Mrs. X

Ordered my tickets for the Scala show London and Leadmill Sheffield. A pre show drink at the Saraha nights would be nice. It would be nice to see you all again especially Gloria. We'll arrange time nearer the grand occasion? Only 4 months to wait. Peter

Gloria[/b]Hey Gloria, do you think it'll work for old men too? - my back's been giving me a bit of jip of late. Perhaps I should re-register as "Not so Young Savage"? Sadly though, Sahara Nights appears to be no more. When I passed by on the bus to work this morning, it was closed and all the signs have been removed. Between now and July I'll do a little reconnaisance and try and find another venue to suggest for pre-Scala meet. Cheers! Y.S.
