Billy's up-dated his web-site. Sounds like the new album's coming on a-pace.

Talking of paces, he's doing half of the Pennine Way with a friend in aid of MacMillan, the Cancer Relief people. It's a fine charity which does some genuinely good (and genuinely hard) work and is well worth supporting. I wonder if the Pennine scenery, the land of his blood, will inspire Mr.Currie to symphonic works in the Elgar mode? Certainly the track, Stand Up and Walk, always makes me think of snow falling over a night-lit upland Northern English landscape, whether or (probably) not it was written with that in mind.
