Whilst performing performing some grisly menial chore today - sorting through accumulated junk - I decided a little music would be in order. Having not heard it for a good long while, I dug out UNEARTHED and gave it a spin. I have to say that I was more than pleasantly surprised. It really is a superb piece of work and seems to have improved with age, I'd forgotten how good it was.

I was lucky enough to be able to catch it live some years back. It's a shame that this real orchestral version isn't available, too. The form in which it's released is excellent, but with an orchestra of real strings another dimension would be added.

I am looking forward more than ever to "APotS".

Didn't say I didn't like it, but it just ain't great.

Besides, 'Where's Romeo?' is a lost 80's classic that just doesn't know it yet...

Dear goodness!....Now I know I'm in the right place, being a sad 80's fan myself.....

However, I never thought I'd see the words CaVa CaVa and classic in the same sentence....

...next thing you know, Si, you'll be telling us that Blue Zoo and those blokies that did 'Paris is one day away' are also classics waiting to happen! laugh

To be fair (and rather pedantic, but hey... wink ) those words aren't in the same sentence. Oh, and I hope you ain't dissing Cry Boy Cry and it's amazing falsetto vocals? I'll get Sleepy to come round and play with his organ in your front room...

No idea what the last reference is, but I should warn you that I'm listening to Men Without Hats and I show no mercy (or something...).

NO! NO! Nooooo!

Cava Cava!!?? I thought I'd buried the very name deep into my subconcious NEVER, EVER to be uttered in public again... wink

I have demos if any one wants them (snigger!). Had the unfortunate experience of auditioning for them way back in 1980, in a very cold hut in Bournemouth.

Burning Boy!!! DON'T TEMPT ME! cussing

BTW, Steve Paris *IS* Clair Grogan - did you ever see them in the same room together... Ha! Thought not laugh
