If I didn't respond to your private apology in the way you wanted, maybe that was because from where I was sat, I didn't think there was anything for me to apologise for at the time. You never gave any inkling that you were expecting one so maybe you're referring to summat else; you'll have enlighten me... Talking of Nissans... Another high-quality work from Billy. Well done, sir! I agree...listened to it and drifted into the heavens. He takes the granular synthesis sound even further to create this unique ambient sound. Stately is the stand out track and probably the most upbeat. For me it's up there with Cathedral Oceans. Billy you are the Great Incontestable Star. Chris C PS Billy, once I play it a few times more I'll add my full commemts on the album to your topic.

Please, pour light into my benighted brain: what exactly is "granular synthesis"? Sounds like summat fer t'do with the manufacture of sugar! The sleeve notes for "PUSH" refer to it without ever really explaining it. I'm sure someone here must know.

That's a technical question for the maestro. E-mail Billy via his website info@billycurrie.com Ask for Diamond Dave and say that Chris (from The Forum) sent you. Billy's a busy man. He answers some e-mails not all. With regards to John Foxx I email Rob: robinharris@metamatic.com If Billy's busy John's nowhere to be seen. I feel 2005 is going to be a big year for him. The jewel in the crown of all Ruby Murray's eh Mind you Billy, after a one o' them down ya neck yel have to tone down the dance routines mate.......then again, if you've gorra pair o' bicycle clips hands then just hoy them round ya ankles.
