Sounds interesting, thanks for the link. I have checked at Abbey Road and indeed they are running an Abbey Road Live service, which obviously records shows live, burns CD-Rs from them or offers MP3.
However, since it´s a concert in the future, I will wait a little bit until I order.

They did the live recording of the London Marillion gig last week, which was sold as a physical CD at the venue, within 30 minutes of the gig finishing. I presume this is officially sanctioned rather than a bootleg...does anyone know?

I presume this is officially sanctioned rather than a bootleg...does anyone know? I know the Laibach ones were as official as possible. The band commissioned artwork for them and advertised for them on their official site. And why not? It's a great idea for a tour souvenir to take home professionally recorded copy of the concert. Band gets to make a dime or two and there is no need for poor quality tapes be floating around. Now we just need the UK venues to stop being a pain in the butt nazis about taking pictures in hopes they leech a few bucks from professional photo "permits".

I've just had mail from my Other Half, who has just ordered it for me, and aspects of the experience might be of interest to those considering ordering. They apparently force you to create an account. One that it is not possible to delete by any sensible (or secure) method. Here, with sweating removed, is what C had to say: There's no way to edit account info online. No way to change a password online. And to get them to delete an account you have to write to them (via snail mail) via the designated Data Controller for The EMI Group Ltd.
So, at least we know why it's legit, but the only way to change your account is very insecure indeed, with no way of knowing that the person who sent the letter really is who they claim to be. Update: C has e-mailed the privacy policy address to find out if the online options are just very well hidden.

You are spot on about the photo situation! In Oxford the staff were marching up & down aisles telling people to put their cameras & phones down I was in the stalls in Oxford row c to the left hand side and had no problems. In fact took 230 photos of the gig I was a few rows behind you, and I did see a staff member come down at one point and have a word in a few people's ears. They obediently put their cameras etc away, and discreetly got them out again shortly afterwards. The staff member never returned as far as I could see, and as I was in an aisle seat I think I would have noticed.

C has e-mailed the privacy policy address to find out if the online options are just very well hidden. In the FAQs it says that you can send a cheque or postal order. How can I order from you without using my credit card on-line?
We accept cheques and postal orders from UK customers and international customers made out in GBP£ and made payable to Sandbag Ltd.

Shame if they're only recording this one show. Usually Live Here Now record whole tours and you can buy the show(s) you attended.
Still it'll be nice to have a recording from this tour.

The last time I bought something similar was for Crowded House and it was available at the venue half an hour after the end of the concert. I was hoping for the same this time , but no such luck.

Same here with Simply Red at the Albert Hall. Had to queue up after the gig whilst they duplicated the CDs in a transit out the back!

Are we 'safe' to order yet? Will last nights #triflegate make any difference? Anyone paid for and got the mp3 yet? M

Well, I see Midge has since mentioned on twitter that the concert has been recorded for CD, so maybe that's why they've been quiet about it if a commercial CD is planned for future release?

Midge latest tweet this morning says that the recording is available now - both from the website and at the gigs for the rest of the tour
