Hi, just had a go at figuring out the guitar chords for Brilliant. Here's my first attempt: Intro - A G (repeat) Verse - A G (repeat), until 'Hide away' when it shifts to G Bm (repeat) Chorus - F Bb (repeat) Instrumental break (part 1) - Dm Am (repeat) Instrumental break (part 2) - Am Bm (repeat) Final chorus - F Bb (repeat) Musically speaking I have to say that the chord sequences are quite interesting!

For what it's worth, I think it's A / Em upto Hide Away, where the G /Bm kicks in!

Has anyone noticed how Midge sings the first line of this song differently in the live shows? Instead of "Somewhere sure, somewhere safe inside", he sings "Some thing sure, some thing safe inside" Ultravox Brilliant Live in Hamburg

Ok so finally have a version of this to share....quite a task trying to unpick all the elements of the song, instruments, effects, never mind the music itself. No surpise there tho - the reason Ultravox are so good is the underlying sophistication of the music: Here's my interpretation... https://soundcloud.com/rowalk42/brilliant-ultravox-covered
