Detroit Starrzz are active (in fact we ran a photo feature by Jus Forrest on them back in April) - but no news on Visage, I'm afraid.

New album? Oh dear, I for one will not be parting with the owld 'Hard earned' for this one.

I like the instrumentation on that video, it's just the singing I'm having the problem with......

He was happy enough for Beat Boy to be a Visage album without Midge.

Not that is sad news. I was really looking forward to it (with Midge and Rusty) - but now it seems that it won´t happen. Oh well..

There will never be a Visage without Rusty, Midge and Billy. Think about when Midge wrote in his biography that a night when Steve slept at Midge´s place, Midge told Steve that if he touched him, he would kill him

They do have really expensive and the new no talent "stars" use it all the time VOCAL CORRECT and Apple sells it. You get the worst vocal on it, record it fix it and bring it to the show and do a "Britney Spears" "Lady GaGa" headphone thingie and PRETEND THAT IS YOU who is singing the song! Really Steve needs this wonderful invention!

Ever notice something about Ultravox? They ACTUALLY SING! Midge doesn't need that program he does just fine! Best voice evers! No one does better than Ultravox! I like Gary Numan too I really do, and I am also a Moby fan, but Midge's voice that is unmistakeable perfection! No one does that anymore!

And let´s not forget Billy Currie.

What a difference in how time has treated Mr Strange compared to, for example, Midge!
Never thought that much of him but this is just plain embarassing!

Midge said that they used Melodyne extensively and in a creative way on the latest Ultravox album. There is a very low chance that any recent record was made entirely without any pitch correction plugin. Nobody does sing equally good each and every day and on the record, you will hear the slightest problems. Vocal correction is not always Autotune (which in fact is sold by Antares - Apple does currently not offer an outstanding pitch processor) - and if used in the right way, nobody will ever hear the difference. Melodyne by German company Celemony is a great example here.

You're right - I can barely understand what he's on about.

Were you following him when he was abroad (Dubai?) and collapsed and his taxi driver was posting comments? Those tweets made more sense than anything Steve has ever posted.

Someone should get hold of his phone & turn the auto-correct on!

Is it possible to figure it sometimes but it's hard. He has this odd method that misses out vowels sometimes. Also, he sometimes publicly tweets *urgent* messages to individuals but doesn't use an @name.

I've considered replying to those ones . . . .

I never have any idea what he's on about on Twitter. He's either slagging off Rusty or Midge, proclaiming that the Detroit Starzz are the best band ever, talking about the new Visage album or about about how lonely he is without his rugby player. Sometimes all in the space of one tweet.

He reckons he's obtaining a restraining order it some such against whoever it is.
