Well my CD arrived today and I have suffered a major disappointment that the CD cannot be ripped to iTunes.

I don't know what the record company/ band are thinking but surely they realise that most people listen to music on iPods or similar devices these days. To put a copy restriction on the disc is just ridiculous.

I still like to buy CDs, because I like the physical product, but I rarely play them.

Unless of course I have a faulty one. Has anyone tried and failed like I have?

I got the tracks onto iTunes and have been listening on my iPod all day.

iTunes couldn't get the track names but that might be because the album hasn't officially been released yet!

I have no problem here check if its the latest iTunes you have! You could try
Itunes>preferences>click import settings >tick use error correction when reading audio CDs.
This usually sorts the problems when you have a misaligned disc.
