Plus we have the perfect venue... Usher Hall.. Seen them in Playhouse so many times and always wondered why Ultravox played there...

From Midges Facebook page

"Hi All
Just to clarify the touring situation as it stands. I know some people are a little disappointed we are not playing venues near you or even returning to some we did on the last tour which seem to have disappeared this time round. Contrary to popular belief we don't get to choose where to and where not to perform. Unfortunately the period when we are going out on tour so are a lot of other artists so availability for most of the venues is pretty thin. This gives us the choice of doing what we can or not doing any. Believe me we would have loved to return to Edinburgh, Brighton, Dublin etc but the fates are against us for now.
Having said all this we are really looking forward to getting out there and making a glorious noise again.
I hope to see you all wherever we stop and plug in!
Midge"

Hope this explains why certain places have been left out of the tour.

Well spotted ,Paul!
I must say when you look at it,that the tour looks to be back to front. It is a shame that the band haven't had total control over this;as it is though, apart from Warren, it looks like they can go home after most shows!

Don't think many bands do tbh mate I think they probably found out when Hammersmith was available and booked the rest arond that. I have seen many bands say the same as Midge its a case of what you can get at the time that you want it.

noticed on the Billy Currie interview that the band maybe be planning a tour outside Europe in the New Year.

I sure hope they are coming downunder, its a nice time early in the year boys, you can soak up the Sun!! thumbs

What is it like at passport control/security down there?
The band might miss the show!!
No,seriously the more the better.
I was thinking in view of what Midge has said, events seem to be running 6 months behind schedule...ideally,i think they should have been ready to launch last Autumn, then be on the road this Spring,i.e. NOW.As they were in 2009.They would have secured the venues/Towns of their choice, whereas in Autumn every Manjack and his singing utensils is on the road on the Xmas bank-raid run.
The tour schedule doesen't look too bad but it's a shame some key locations will miss out.
