Midge, Warren, Billy, Chris - thanks for:
1) making what sounds like a hugely glorious noise on the new album - 13 days and counting, and;
2) coming to Sarfend!! That's an after work gig for me as I work at nearby Basra......sorry, Basildon!!

Gentlemen, we salute you, and the Essex Regiment of the Ultravox Army welcomes you to our (much maligned but wonderful in parts) county!

Now I know you're coming, I can book early and get you 10% off Adventure Island wristbands! And may I suggest going to the Company Shed on Mersea Island if you like seafood - you'll have to bring your own bread and drink, but the food is superb! yahoo

See you in October!! uv

Hi everyone!
what a wonderful news!!!! I can hardly wait for September!!!

I have some questions about these tour dates, I hope that someone can help me!

- there will be a meet&greet during one of these dates?
- if yes, do you think there will be the chance to buy the ticket+pass for the meet&greet during the pre-sale?
- do you know if at the Hammersmith Apollo they can let you take photos/videos?

I would like to choose the right tour date seeing that I come from Italy grin

thank you! thanks
Astrid

Do we know roughly what music will be played on the tour ?
I assume both new and old tracks ?

Also, any word on what prices the tickets will be ? ( Birmingham)

to quote from
http://www.stereoboard.com/content/view/172590/9
The ‘Brilliant’ tour will feature brand new material from the album alongside classic tracks from the band’s hugely influential back catalogue. “We’re cherry picking what will work in the context of a set. There’ll be a good element of the ‘Brilliant’ album played live and we’re really looking forward to taking these songs out on the road.”

Prices are £32.50 ( £35 for Hammermsith ) + £5.25 ticketmaster fees

Hammersmith – help needed badly !!!

Could someone please help me make a decision on which tickets to buy? I do not want to sit (like I did in the Roundhouse). I’d rather do some dancing but not too far away from the stage. Please indicate the best sector/block/stalls. Please!
thanks

I agree with you Gwilym, I think they have scored an own goal by not coming to the Welsh fans. Maybe they will add new dates (its always a good marketing ploy to make sure the dates sell out first).

Im an Englishman in Mid Wales so I'll have to drive to Bristol...

Go back and use the link Cerise provided as merely refreshing does not seem to work. I was there immediately and was offered CIRCLE row B so used O2 Priority Moments instead and got row D.

No Edinburgh!!!!!!! Boz.

Wasn't counting on it anyway, but the worse thing is that the only Scottish date is on a Sunday night. That could have been kinder on the land that gave the world James Ure.

Not pweased, not pweased at all.

This always happens to me! I go away on holiday for a week and the bloody tour dates are announced! Last year I was in Spain when Sylvian tickets went on sale, 2009 & 2010 I was away when the two UV tours went up. Am I right to be feeling a little paranoid?

But thanks to my Ultravox-hating friend who actually registered on the site when I texted him just to make sure I got decent tickets: Row D in Nottingham. Not as good as row A last time but not bad at all!
