I fell asleep in Australia and woke up 3pm UK time. I only managed to get front row circle in block 10. I am a short arse so thats not too bad.

I am praying for another hammy date so i can get a chance of front row stalls. I sure hope they give us some notice before the main public. Man, i am counting the days. grin

Aye folks, them PRE-SALE LINK buttons are a whizz!
Must send thumbs to Reedo for knocking one up for the lads n' lasses on EV. So Gateshead Sage it is for me and Mrs Porker - oh lord, I shouldn't call her that - it sounds rather insulting. I shall now look over my shoulder in case she is spying as I type. I still have a flat crown where she twatted me with the frying pan, last year! She caught me wasting 50 notes on a curry mail order website. The house stunk fer weeks!
Oh well, I don't want one of these... hijack... so I'll tip my hat to the PRE-SALES LINK BUTTON and walk back out the door. Until the next time, eh folks. Back soon... wink

First of all thanks Cerise for the massive heads up you give us all for these tickets; I don't look at my emails daily so having such advance warning meant I could plan to be in to book bang on 9am.

I got row E Hammersmith - right at the end of the row on Chris' side. I booked bang on 9am so to be honest had hoped to get better seats. So where do all the better seats go? I'm gathering from people's posts that O2 users get better seats, otherwise is it just pot luck? I didn't want to risk letting them go and getting worse seats, as they were offered as the best available.

Did slightly better with Oxford: row D more central, but was just pipped for the row C seats in front that I tried to book but someone else got there nano seconds before!

Anyway, looking forward to these, and it'll be lovely to see everyone again! Natalie

Hi all,

Long time no post! Have been massively busy with work and such lately, but always keeping a watchful eye on Ultravox related matters. Have pre-ordered the new album from Townsend and of course wanted to get in and grab tickets for the new tour. Just my luck though that I was working on the day of the pre-sale and would have no internet access until I got home from work at 8.30pm. sad

Got home and immediately started searching the links for sloppy seconds and left overs. Wasn't expecting much, and I needed 3 x tickets as 2 friends would be coming along as well. I wasn't too fussed regarding the venue as I would be happy to drive a 100 mile radius of London. I feel I got quite lucky grabbing 3 seats, row G, central block at the Oxford New Theatre! Considering I searched nearly 12 hours after the initial pre-sale link went live I'm quite damn pleased with that! yahoo

Might still be interested in a single seat near the front of another southern venue if anyone needs to offload one wink

Great to be back onboard by the way, and many thanks to Cerise for once again sorting out the pre-sale links and getting the forum/ site back up and running so well winning

Got on Internet tonught and as predicted all good seats gone - can only get around Row W if want a ticket now - the public have no chance on Friday!

I'm so sorry about that. TicketMaster set up the online AND phone pre-sale for us, but it does seem that some TicketMaster operators are far better informed than others... frown

Which venue were you trying to buy tickets for? If it's Hammersmith, I might be able to help.

Also, do try again today (LiveNation have their own pre-sale at http://www.livenation.co.uk/?c=twit_wp_ln_170512 then search for Ultravox) and again tomorrow for the general sale at 09:00 - you might be pleasantly surprised as there is a different allocation of tickets, spread throughout the venue, for each sale. It doesn't just fill up from the front backwards, so that each group gets a chance at decent seats...

Sorry to hear that, Andy. We had a handful of problems with the blasted telephone pre-sale yesterday, and I worked with LiveNation to get them all sorted (I only just saw your post, sorry about that).

It's been confirmed to me that phone sales WERE taken for all venues yesterday (and it's only us that had the phone pre-sale), so it seems to be down to some operators not being as well-informed as others... frown

I just looked on our pre-sale - you can still get stalls tickets, middle of Row U (at the Colston Hall that's still a great view, it goes back as far as KK, 16 rows further). smile

I'm an ungrateful so-and-so because I didn't use the pre-sale facility - don't like paying extortionate sums to Ticketmaster when I can go direct to the theatre box office (Oxford). Which I did today, hoping that you lot had left a few crumbs! It was a nervous wait .... sad

Was rewarded with excellent seats. Row K was the first available in the central stalls, but I rejected that in favour of aisle seats in row J to the side, which also means no one directly in front of us as that is the front row in that block. dance

Hi everyone!

Has anyone already received tickets from Ticketmaster? I bought them during the pre-sale, as you can read in this topic, but Ticketmaster hasn't dispatched them yet sad
In 2010 I got them after 6 days and I'm worried...

if you ordered through ticketmaster you will have an account with them. Login and then check the status of the order through the "order details" section. The 2 dates I ordered are flagged as "not yet dispatched" so nothing to worry about yet - and I would only start to get worried at the beginning of September.

I bought tkts for 5 shows on the link. I opted for the print your own for hammersmith, and asaked for the others to be sent out. I have recieved tkts for the Nottingham show only, and I'm still waiting for tkts for Oxford, Birmingham and Manchester.

Interestingly, the postcode Ticketmaster used was incorrect, but on checking my account I have provided the correct postcode...so I too am a little coincerned at how long they're taking. I've been here before though, and sometimes they only dispatch them a couple of weeks before.

I have received my Blackpool one,not my Southend one yet. Printed my Hammersmith one.

By the way HMV tickets still have some tickets for Hammersmith. And they are £2.50 cheaper than Ticketmaster!!! shock2

That's the same for me, "not yet dispatched" for the 2 dates (2 tickets for oxford and 2 tickets for hammersmith)...
But now I need to sell 2 of them (Oxford) and it would be great to get them as soon as possible! I don't want to be considered as a dishonest person...

I live outside UK, in Italy, and so it was impossible for me to opt for the "print your own"...

I'm "happy" to read that I'm not the only one who is waiting for tickets, so thank you all!!!

Got mine for Manchester but not Bristol (Hammersmith opted for the download now option), so hopefully this is just differing from different venues and/or ticketsellers?
Lets hope!!
