Well done to everyone who got tickets today, from UK and Overseas. Nice to see genuine fans of the band getting good tickets? Thanks to Cerise for keeping us all up to speed with ticket allocations etc....Got my tickets with a helping hand from a fellow fan(this has re-newed my faith in mankind!) smile

Take a look at www.getmein.com and you may become disillusioned again. Lots of tickets being sold for every gig and some over £100 each frown

and on ebay , couple of people trying to sell Hammersmith tickets at £200 for a pair.

Point taken David, how Ticketmaster can associate their name with an outfit like Getmein is crazy, but then again I suppose that's business.

You should have a look and follow the links provided below, watch the programme, and then have the discussions about Ticketmaster and the like.

I have seen this programme, how can teams of people from these official tout sites get away with it. They have wallets of credit cards in their possession surely the credit card companies would check experian to find out how many are at that address. The MP that has taken this up seems to be getting blocked in her attempts to sort this. The venue has not sold out but the tickets are 3 or 4 times the price and more. I thought that "loan sharks" are meant to be illegal.

If someone were to offer me £200 for mine, i wouldn't take it! An Ultravox tour promoting a brand new album make my ticket priceless for me. The goons responsible for doing all this ebay ticket selling want shooting in my opinion, It just spoils it for the loyal fans.

I find this so frustrating. There's a girl in work who always buys excess tickets for gigs and then sells them on ebay for astronomical prices. I wish there was some way of stopping this.

Touts have always been a problem. Unfortunately, now in the internet age, its easier than ever to buy and sell. I agree its frustrating for genuine fans, I managed to get 2 of the last 20 tickets left on Thursday morning for Manchester, and they are right at the end of row L in the stalls, so I'm hoping the view is ok (unlike 2009 at the Manchester Apollo when I was at the end of a row and half the stage was obscured by a huge speaker). The other thing that REALLY annoys me is Ticketmaster charging £6 'handling fee', which is over 10% of the ticket price and utterly scandalous if you ask me.

The other strange thing was that 2 out of the 3 Premier Inns were fully booked (on a Sunday night ?). Managed to get a room though, for £100 a night !!!!

Now, just had a quick look on TM, there are about 9 seats left in the stalls for Manchester and thats it - everywhere else if full. Blackpool on the other hand is less than half full. Odd.

This 'person' has loads of different concert tickets for sale, obviously makes a habit of buying them then selling them on at hugely inflated prices. Cockroach.

I agree that these 'handling fees' by companies is a con. What happened to the days when you could go to a ticket office and buy a ticket for the face value? Now it's handling fees and delivery charges. It's always the consumers that get fleeced!!

I wasn't able to take advantage of the pre-sale as I was abroad so I was at the mercy of the public sale yesterday and got Row X at Hammy (eeek!!) and Row E at Blackpool. If the whole tour sells out, the Ebay, Seatwave etc tickets will go through the roof.

You still can in some places. I did yesterday at the New Theatre in Oxford.

Just ordered my tickets for The Sage, Gateshead, direct from the box office. You can pick your own seats from the interactive seat planner. Very easy and no booking fee either.
Still plenty of good seats left too.....
