The current issue of Q magazine is running a 'The Real Best of' article - songs which make a band/artist what they were, tilting more towards album tracks than the singles. Of course there was no Midge Ure top ten there, so what would your Top Ten Midge tracks be, I wonder? I've set this teaser on Facebook and am thinking of collating the results in a few month's time. Have fun!

Antilles The Chieftain That Certain Smile Guns and Arrows Live Forever Alone Let Me Go Call of the Wild Mood Music Wedding
I would have included these two, but I left them out because they are covers...

Very very difficult - it changes day-to-day and mood-to-mood. Sometimes Monster really hits home, other days it would be something like Spielberg Sky. Anyway my choice today is
Lied Let me go I survived Wastelands Lay my body down Dear God Cold cold heart Call of the wild That certain smile Madame de Sade

Hi, and thanks to all who voted here. I hereby call this poll closed, and will quickly tabulate the votes and post them here, with a full breakdown to follow later in re:VOX magazine (as we did in the present issue with the Ultravox poll). I'll probably run it alongside the next instalment of Vladimir's international chart guide to Midge's releases.
Thanks again!
