Isn't Monday a bank holiday in the UK? Normally it would have been, but this year it has been moved to the following week to coincide with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

The German amazon site has already 6 reviews of Brilliant (all from today)! All are highly positive and rated 5/5. http://www.amazon.de/Brilliant-Ultravox/dp/B007R9MFPU/ref=ntt_mus_ep_dpi_1Brilliant is currently ranked at no. 25 in category "music" and no. 21 in category "music/pop". I ordered it via Townsend so it will probably arrive on Tuesday as Monday is a holiday. I can hardly wait...

Well, got the CD in my hands  How can I discribe it, let's see: I put the CD in my sound system, REMEMBERING the good old times when there was this thing called vinyl. But everything do CHANGE, even playing LIVE requires only a PC on stage. So I listen and enjoy the FLOW of songs with BRILLIANT sound and a RISE of emotions from song to song. Midge surely didn't LIE when he was speaking of "the best album we've done" and I FALL to my knees for ONE pray to the music gods. Finally I said to my wife: HELLO Darling, we gotta have CONTACT tonight in celebration of this epic piece of music  Sorry, don't know how to put a SATELLITE in this story  And yes, ONE is a killer song.

After listening to the album a couple of times. The opening eight tracks are fantastic. The others need to grow on me. Much prefer the upbeat songs. I hope the others grow on me. As i heard someone else say, maybe one or two too many slow ones. Just my humble opinion.

This is an excellent album with some cracking songs on there, a couple will will need time to grow on me, but overall a very impressive album.
