That said its 100 time better than U-vox!
I thought the same when I first heard the chosen title, BUT having said that, once I actually heard the title track, it kinda made more sense. Give it a chance to bed in, once you've heard it.

I'm with you 'Becca'. Let's hope the music retains the characteristics and flavour of the band we admire so much. A direct, simple title doesn't reflect the musical sublety and sophistication that is Ultravox, and represents a break from tradition (except for the title for the 'Pink Thing').
I laughed my back off when I saw the album title! Such a confident, bold, grand and possibly even arrogant gesture. Clearly, the band don't care what the critics are going to think of this record. They think it's 'brilliant' They've effectively provided their own one-word review of the record and used to it to title the record! Hehehehe!
Can't wait for this. Really looking forward to it. I'm not one for wishing my life away but...

Thank you very much, Cerise. This is reassuring, because althought I am about to preorder "everything" and am very happy that there IS a new album, the title listing was a bit of a bummer ;-)

With you on that one Mandy - that's exactly how I felt when I read the e-mail this morning! And 12 tracks instead of the normal 8! BONUS! Fantastic news - well done guys! The Ultravox Army is on the march again! Still think you should have gone with my suggestion of 'Catflap', though!
Now we can start to speculate about which song from the new album will be the 1st single and what will be the "b-side" / bonus track(s) etc. and so on... Brilliant indeed!
not sure I care much about the title, though you can interpret 'brilliant' in lots of ways - more to do with light and physics than a comment on quality... though I have no doubts about the quality too. How the hell are we going to contain ourselves for another 2 months now???

Cerise, I must admit to being a bit underwhelmed by the title. How can anything even the greatest CD in history live up to it? I'm reassured tho' by the fact you've heard it and will wait and see...
