Today's a homeoffice day for me. Enjoying it really, home alone. So I can turn the volume up a little bit more. Today it's somehow "Tubeway Army's" day for me. Listening to THE PLAN and REPLICAS, and especially REPLICAS is an early masterpiece...

Hi Valeriun, thanks for the intrest.

I did survive, went to seven and a half days.
I played 'the garden' last night and the first few minutes felt better than ever.

Found a lot of other things to do when not playing music though.
Have decided i was wasting too much time with too much music, but if i dont play any then im wasting time that way too.
So ive decided to do other things in life more than before, but play about one album a day.
I would be wasting my time if a gave up music for good.

I've only recently "discovered" headphones; as i had previously thought that to be punk u had to blast things loudly out of speakers. lol. So i am listening to more stuff than i had done for ages; Tom Verlaine's new cd "Songs and other things" is my main listening and i also got Fiona Apple's debut, and one by the Fiery Furnaces (also their debut).

Listening to an old Sparks album today: Propaganda. Glam rock, but nice enough. Not as good as "Gratious sax and senseless violins" though, that one is pure genius laugh

Steven

funny you should say that - my ex girlfriend's blog sez she is listening to "The Cream of Clapton" which i've also got. Me and a mate have been looking at vid clips of 1970s progressive type bands. One of the funniest was Focus doing "Hocus Pocus", also a bit of Genesis "Giant Hogweed", some Jethro Tull "Living in the Past", and some slightly better stuff eg Peter Hammill and Van Der Graaf Generator, a bit of Kevin Ayers / Soft Machine, Robert Wyatt, John Cale (ex Velvet Underground).

If there's a better album released this year I'll be amazed.

Never underestimate the beautiful light of madness.
Genius.
No other word for it.

I've also been listening to loads of Russian liturgical stuff recently (check the Harmonia Mundi label and the Ekaterinburg and Moscow Academy Choirs esp)...
